Mothercare commissioned the design team to redevelop their instore maternity zone, with a fashion focused aspiration and a clear demarcation between the bordering instore departments.

A feature area was created within the space, including an intricate wavy ceiling raft to both define the space and provide a visual beacon for customer navigation.

The Denim space was given definition with it’s own copper colourway, backdrop, lighting and wall units incorporating both display and storage capabilities.

The wave ceiling raft theme continues into the floor perimeter frames, creating a cohesive sculptural aesthetic, both modern and contemporary, yet maintaining a feminine feel in keeping with the primary function of this area of the store.

Development of the concepts through to technical design, prototype, manufacturing and implementation was completed by the team – an example of our unique approach combining the key aspects of any successful retail supply proposition and providing Mothercare with a seamless solution from concept to implementation.

The new concept is currently being rolled out across the UK and Internationally.
